Welcome to the December, 2009 edition of InterConnect, MobileMD’s e-Newsletter.
As I mentioned in my previous letter to you, these are very exciting times for MobileMD. Our Users' Group meeting, held in Philadelphia on November 5, was a wonderful success. We had tremendous participation from clients spanning the country and representing health systems of all sizes. Our various sessions included dynamic interchange involving all participants. The sessions discussed everything from implementation and operational considerations to new product ideas.

MobileMD Responds to GOHCR’s Proposed Plan to Implement the Pennsylvania Health Information Exchange
At the end of November, the Governor’s Office of Health Care Reform ("GOHCR") submitted a proposed plan outlining a strategy to expedite and implement the Pennsylvania Health Information Exchange ("PHIX"). In my opinion, the plan is precariously perched on the precipice of disaster.
